Jeanine is an amazing practitioner. She has such empathy and compassion for the people that she works with and is incredibly flexible in her approach to meeting the needs of her clients. As a mental health recovery practitioner, I cannot over state how grateful I am for having met Jeanine. She offers a sensitive, person-centered practice and is always willing to go the extra mile to embody the loving ethos that she promotes.

I have sent a number of my patients to Jeanine for her chair yoga sessions and every one has responded positively to them and have been happy to continue the full course. They have found the sessions comfortably challenging but accessible and although they have enjoyed the workout, they have been able to do them at their own pace and within their limits without feeling overwhelmed or pushed. Jeanine is a calming and welcoming person and this has made people feel relaxed and encouraged before and during the sessions. She has made contact if needed prior to starting which has been helpful and people have made connections during the sessions which has been an added bonus. On behalf of the Barnstaple HOPE Programme, for people living with Fibromyalgia, I wanted to say a very big thank you for coming to our group yesterday and providing us with a sample session of your chair-based yoga. We all found the yoga very relaxing, even those who suffer with chronic joint pain managed to take part. Your explanation of the yoga moves, and what not to do if it hurt, was really positive. Jeanine came to a client I look after, MC looked forward to seeing Jeanine and found the sessions very helpful especially using parts of her body that she has not been able to use and gaining a lot more strength. Jeanine is a warm and friendly yoga teacher. She understands my needs and adapts the poses to match my abilities. Her lessons involve careful and gentle stretching to improve flexibility, muscle tone and balance. The atmosphere is always calm and relaxed, with time to giggle when my sense of balance fails me! Jeanine is a star and I can't recommend her highly enough.

After having surgery on my back many years ago, I now have a chronic pain condition which excludes me from taking any form of exercise. So to find Chair Yoga with Jeanine was a blessing. I have been doing chair yoga for a few weeks now and I can certainly feel the benefits. Jeanine has guided me through the sessions with patience and consideration. She has taught me how to relax during the exercises and how to adapt them on my “bad days”. Alongside my regular sessions I am looking forward to working with the videos that Jeanine is personally making for me.

I have had both yoga and several holistic massages with Jeanine. She is bubbly, enthusiastic and so much fun to be with. Her yoga classes are gentle and she always ensures that I am in the correct poses. Jeanine came to our home to provide a yoga session for me and my two girls aged 4 and 7. The session was relaxing and informative.
